Pick one platform and own it — LinkedIn for professional authority, Instagram for human connection. A profile with no posts in 6+ months reads as abandoned. Quality over quantity.
07 · Directories
Listed in specialty directories (IFM, DPCC, DPC Frontier, Hint)
DPC and functional medicine directories are where your ideal patients search. Verify your listing is current and links to your website. These backlinks also boost your domain authority.
08 · Patient Proof
Testimonials or case stories are visible on your website
Social proof closes the gap between interest and action. Even 3–5 genuine quotes on your homepage reduce patient hesitation significantly. HIPAA-compliant: get written consent.
09 · Content
Practice blog or resource section with 3+ published articles
Content builds organic search traffic over time. Even 4 high-quality posts per year targeting DPC-relevant keywords compounds into significant visibility. Start with patient FAQ topics.
10 · Conversion
Clear appointment booking CTA accessible within 1 click
A curious patient shouldn't have to search for how to contact you. Booking button or "Schedule a call" CTA should be in your nav, above the fold, and on every service page.
